Return & Exchange Policy
At The Mini Scent, we want you to love every fragrance you receive. Because fragrance products are personal items, our return policy is designed to protect product quality while still supporting our customers.
1. Policy Coverage
This return policy applies to orders shipped within the United States.
2. Return Window
We accept eligible return requests within 7 calendar days of delivery, including returns due to a change of mind. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
3. Return Eligibility
Products must be new, unused, unopened, in their original packaging and original condition. Proof of purchase is required. Opened or used fragrances cannot be returned for a change of mind.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Opened or used fragrances, sale or discounted items, and gift cards are final sale for change-of-mind returns. These exclusions do not limit applicable rights or remedies for damaged, defective, or incorrect products.
5. How to Request a Return
Returns are by mail only. Email theminiscentstore@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. We will review the request and provide instructions and the return mailing address. Do not mail products back before contacting us.
6. Return Shipping Costs
Change-of-mind returns: Customers pay return shipping costs, which depend on the carrier and service selected. Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders: Customers initially pay return shipping. For approved returns, we reimburse reasonable return shipping costs after receiving the shipping receipt. Contact us before shipping an affected item.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Inspect your order upon delivery. If it arrives damaged, leaking, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours. Include your order number and clear photos of the product and packaging when available. We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution, such as a replacement or refund.
8. Exchanges
We accept exchanges for eligible products within 7 calendar days of delivery. Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging. Customers pay return shipping for change-of-mind exchanges. For approved damaged, defective, or incorrect-item returns, reasonable return shipping costs are reimbursed. Exchanges depend on stock availability.
9. Refund Processing
After we receive and inspect a returned item, approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to post the refund. Original shipping charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns unless required by law.
